Orthopaedic Disclosure Program
Dr. Bobba is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who specializes in treating conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His areas of focus include spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, instability, deformity, trauma, compression fractures, tumor, and infection. He has extensive experience with in-patient and outpatient procedures, fusions and motion-preserving (non-fusion) procedures, minimally invasive and robotic procedures, disc replacements, and kyphoplasties. He and his team will work with you to tailor an appropriate plan for your individual needs, whether it is non-surgically or surgically, to help restore your quality of life.
After completing his undergraduate years at Columbia University, Dr. Bobba obtained a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs. He then attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia and went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center. Most recently, he completed his spine fellowship at Brown University.
He and his wife live in Providence with their chocolate lab, Scout. They enjoy traveling, cooking, being outdoors, and any and all winter sports. One of their favorite locations is Nantucket.
