Biography

Bryan Berlin, PA-C, is the Physician Assistant to Dr. Andrew Green in the Division of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery of University Orthopedics. He has been with University Orthopedics since July 2016. In that role, he specializes in the evaluation and management of shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity disorders.

Bryan attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey for both his undergraduate and graduate studies.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies in 2011.  During his time as an undergraduate, Bryan earned many academic achievements including acceptance into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Delta Epsilon Iota Honor Society.  He was also an active member of the golf club.  Bryan completed the Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies program at Rutgers University in 2016.  He is now an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS).   

In his role as a board certified Physician Assistant, Bryan’s responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of soft tissue, bone and joint disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity. In addition to evaluating patients in the office he orders and interprets appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, and performs office procedures including injections, aspirations, splinting and bracing. Bryan also assists in the peri-operative care of patients by performing preoperative and postoperative evaluation, and assisting at surgery during total joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures. He is dedicated to the advancement of orthopedic care, and is actively involved in researching patient expectations and outcome measures as they relate to quality of life.
