Mark Lightowler is a Physician Assistant who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He works closely with Dr. Cornelissen and spends his time seeing patients in the clinic and assisting in the operating room.
Mark grew up in Orange, Connecticut and received his Bachelor of Science degree with a Biology Minor from the University of Connecticut. He completed the Physician Assistant Program at Tufts University School of Medicine, obtaining his Master of Medical Science in 2019. While there, he served as the class vice president. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS).
Mark has been working in Orthopedic Surgery since he graduated in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys boating, hiking and spending time with his family and Newfoundland, Frankie.
