Our primary goal at University Orthopedics (UOI) is to always protect the health of our patients, physicians and staff. Due to the increase in reported cases of individuals with coronavirus, the flu and other respiratory illnesses, University Orthopedics is closely following the prevention procedures and preparedness initiatives as put forth by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
To provide all of our patients, physicians, and staff with the safest environment during this time of uncertainty, we ask that our patients with upcoming appointments attend them without visitors. For our patients under the age of 18 years or having surgery or procedures at our facilities, one accompanying visitor will be allowed.
We continue to ask that anyone with a scheduled appointment who has traveled outside the United States in the past 14 days to please reschedule their appointments.
The CDC recommends that patients reschedule their appointments if they have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough or shortness of breath. Please seek medical advice if you develop any of these symptoms from your primary care physician.
