Jessica began her nursing career when she graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2013 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She worked as an RN in the emergency department at The Miriam Hospital for most of her nursing career. She completed her master’s degree in nursing from Rhode Island College in 2020 and became a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in the adult-gerontologic acute care population. While obtaining her master’s degree in Science of Nursing, she successfully completed and obtained her APRN surgical first-assist certificate. Jessica now specializes in the assistance of orthopedic surgical interventions including trauma and sports medicine injuries as well as total joint replacements.
