Dr. Gregory Austin attained his medical degree from the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine. Completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Tuft University in Boston, MA, he served as Chief Resident at the New England Baptist Hospital. During his hand surgery fellowship at the Combined New England Baptist/ Tufts University Hand Fellowship Program, he gained proficiency in surgical treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders. Dr. Austin joined Orthopaedic Associates in 1987 and has been a member of our diverse care team for over 30 years. He has served as Chief of Orthopaedics at Fatima Hospital and President of the RI Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Austin’s areas of interest are in disorders of the upper extremity including injuries, arthritis, nerve compression problems such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel.
