Dr. Michael P. Mariorenzi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who treats all general orthopedic conditions. Through his training and experience he has specialized in treating conditions of the shoulder and knee joints, gaining proficiencies in the surgical and medical management of traumatic and sports medicine injuries, including a wide array of arthroscopic surgical techniques.
Dr. Michael P. Mariorenzi obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine followed by an internship at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. After finishing his training in 1989, he moved back to his home state of Rhode Island to practice with his father and his brother. He is currently serving as a board member on the operating room committee and consult committee at Roger Williams Medical Center.
