Dr. Michael Mariorenzi obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine followed by an internship at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West VA. After finishing his training in 1989, he moved back to his home state of Rhode Island joining his father and his brother at Orthopaedic Associates where he has now practiced for over 30 years. He is currently serving as a board member on the operating room committee and consult committee at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Mariorenzi treats all general orthopedic conditions. However, through his training and experience he has specialized in treating conditions of the shoulder and knee joints and has gained proficiencies in the surgical and medical management of traumatic and sports medicine injuries, including a wide array of arthroscopic surgical techniques.
