Kerri Allanbrook is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner that works with Dr. Aaron in treating Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease. She received a Bachelors of Science from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island.
Kerri began her nursing career at Rhode Island Hospital in 2012, working on a general surgical unit for 2 years followed by 5 years in surgical critical care. After graduating with her Master’s in Nursing, Kerri started her nurse practitioner career at CVS in the Minute Clinics located throughout Rhode Island.
In 2019, she joined South County Hospital, working as an Orthopedic Hospitalist, a new role developed to support orthopedic surgeons at Ortho RI. There she treated patients who underwent total joint replacements as well as fractures and other orthopedic procedures. She provided total care for the patients from post-surgical evaluation to discharge in addition to any medical needs that arose during the patients’ hospitalization.
Kerri joined University Orthopedics January 2024 to learn more about bone health and specialize in osteoporosis care and management. Kerri will be primarily located at 2 Dudley St. in Providence with some office hours at the Kettle Point location in East Providence.
