Kasey Cameron, PA-C, is the physician assistant to Dr. Andrew Green in the Division of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery of University Orthopedics. In that role, she specializes in the evaluation and management of shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity disorders.
Kasey completed her undergraduate studies at Western New England University where she served as a captain for the Women’s Varsity Volleyball Team. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a Chemistry Minor in 2015. Kasey completed the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program at Bryant University in 2019. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants (RIAPA).
In her role as a PA, Kasey’s responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of soft tissue, bone and joint disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity. In addition to evaluating patients in the office, she orders and interprets appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging and performs office procedures including injections, aspirations, splinting, and bracing. Kasey also assists in the peri-operative care of patients by performing preoperative and postoperative evaluation and assisting at surgery during total joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures. She is dedicated to the advancement of orthopedic care and is actively involved in researching patient expectations and outcome measures as they relate to quality of life.
