Meggin Costa, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine, with a specific focus on treatment of disorders affecting the shoulders, hips, and knees. She works with Dr. Stephen E. Marcaccio, MD. In her role, Meggin sees patients in the office setting and assists in the operating room alongside Dr. Marcaccio. She joined University Orthopedics in 2025.
Meggin received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Wheaton College in 2020. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Saint Joseph in 2025. Meggin is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) professional organizations. She is also a member of Pi Alpha, which is the national PA honor society.
Meggin is from Westport, MA originally. She recently moved to Somerset, MA, where she lives with her husband. Beyond her clinical practice, Meggin enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends and family.
