Anthony DiMauro, PA-C is an NCCPA board certified physician assistant currently specializing in Sports Medicine. He works directly with Ramin Tabaddor, MD treating patients with various hip, knee, shoulder, and other sports-related injuries. He completes initial patient evaluation, orders and interprets diagnostic imaging, performs in-office procedures such as injections, and provides pre and postoperative care. He works independently seeing patients in clinic as well as assisting Dr. Tabaddor in the operating room.
Anthony is a native Rhode Islander, growing up in Johnston. He is an alumnus of Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, RI. From there, he attended both the University of Rhode Island and Johnson & Wales where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Johnson & Wales Physician Assistant Program. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Anthony has worked in both orthopedics as well as emergency medicine since graduating. He assists Dr. Tabaddor in treating and covering local collegiate sporting events at the University of Rhode Island. He has a particular interest in the sport of wrestling and has been coaching wrestling at the high school level for several years. Anthony sees patients at the East Greenwich office.
