Vanessa Lund, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating hand and arm conditions. She is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School and a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  With advanced training in hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Lund treats fractures, tendon and nerve lacerations, arthritis, nerve compression, athletic injuries, and many more hand and arm conditions.

Dr. Lund earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center.  She completed a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center.  Dr. Lund has received multiple surgical accolades including being inducted as an ASSH Young Leader and winning the Best New Physician award at Morton Hospital.

Dr. Lund has been involved in orthopedic surgery research, mission work, teaching, and outreach.  She is the Chair of the Orthopedic Department’s Retention and Recruitment Committee and is very active in outreach for medical students and the community. She is active in professional societies, holding committee positions with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.  She also holds committee positions within her practice and at Morton Hospital. 

She is affiliated with Morton Hospital and sees patients in our Raynham office.
