My doctor's visit was perfect, however making an appointment was impossible. I had to go to the practice in person. I have already spoken with Dr Maher, his office manager and a UO manager about the issue. | 100% |

Dr. Maher provides excellent care. My husband and I have both seen him several times and would highly recommend him. However, I was very frustrated with the administrative process. I was sent a link to the portal prior to my appointment to fill out numerous forms, which I did, but then had to repeat every single detail to the nurse when I arrived. Apparently the responses on the portal are not transferred to the doctor's office. If that's the case, then patients should not be instructed to waste their time completing the questionnaires on the portal. I understand that the nurse needs to verify certain critical items like medications, allergies, etc., but patients should not have to answer all the other questions that were already entered into the portal. |

One of the first time I have been to a Specialist where I was taken immediately. They made the paper work so easy compare to some offices. After I had gave the front desk all the information. They ask me to be seated. Less than 5 minutes they called me. I was question my issues and I was right off to X‐rays. Xray tech was really great. Explained in detail and great personality. Return room and Dr Maher was there within 5 minutes. Great personality and in detail. I felt very comfortable with everything. I have a MRI yet to do. But, I definitely would recommend University Orthopedic and Dr Maher. |

I had asked for an appt to discuss wrists and knees. When I arrived I was told I could only discuss one thing: knees OR wrists, not both. This requires another appt, another copay, and lost time. It’s asinine and it drives up health care costs for no reason. It also shows lack of respect for my time. |

Dr. Maher was my 2nd opinion as the 1st specialist didn't even open the MRI disc I provided from Florida. Dr. Maher 1st took a XR to confirm arthritis not even thought of on the previous specialist. He was very through and explained everything. He backed all of this up by showing me the MRI and XR images. I used University Orthopedics with Dr. Lucas for back surgery which was extremely successful. Patricia was very helpful in scheduling an operation with recovery time and PT before my department to Florida for the winter January 12th. I am very happy again with University Orthopedics and have recommended my friends in the past. | 100% |

Dr Maher was great but my Daughter is seeing Dr Brandon for another issue & who ever called me to get the appointment for my daughter was soooo RUDE!! They said sorry but we are short handed and I had to call Newport Hospital to make her MRI appointment. Every time we have ever had an MRI your office would talk to them and the hospital would call me. We are a family of 5 and we ski and do lots of sports unfortunately we have had a bunch of injuries and have had to come in and if it’s going to be talking to RUDE peoples coordinating schedules I will find Another practice which is too bad b/c we love Dr. Maher & Dr Brandon! |
