Dr. Drew Rogers is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic sports surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy with a focus on the preservation of the native hip joint, as well as advanced procedures of the knee and shoulder. He is among the few surgeons in New England who repair hamstring and Gluteus Medius tears endoscopically and is notably one of Massachusetts's first surgeons to become an Ordinary Member of the International Hip Arthroscopy Society. He has taught surgical courses nationally and internationally, is a member of multiple sports societies, and has been honored with multiple awards.
In his professional capacities, Dr. Rogers holds the position of Chairman of Orthopedics at Morton Hospital, Director of Hip Preservation for Mass General Brigham at Newton Wellesley Hospital, and is on staff for the Brown University Department of Orthopedics and Tufts University Department of Orthopedics. He is a team physician for numerous teams, including the USA National Hockey Team, the Providence Bruins, Boston College Athletics, and Taunton High School Athletics. His expertise in sports medicine allows him to care for athletes of all levels and weekend warriors.
Dr. Rogers graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic training at Vanderbilt University and McGill University in Montreal. His specialization was refined through the sports medicine fellowship at Boston University, including training at Boston Medical Center, New England Baptist, and the Lahey Clinic.
