Katherine Caldwell, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant to Dr Julia Katarincic and Dr Christopher Got in the Division of Hand and Wrist Surgery of University Orthopedics. She began with University Orthopedics in March 2019. In her role she focuses the assessment and treatment of disorders of the elbow, wrist and hand.
Katherine was born and raised in Connecticut and now calls Rhode Island home. She attended Northeastern University for her undergraduate studies and is a proud graduate of the inaugural class of Bryant University’s Physician Assistant Masters Program. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree is in Health Science in 2014 and was lucky enough to have clinical experience at many Boston hospitals during her Co-Op opportunities Northeastern offers. She was active in student groups and graduated with honors. Katherine earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Bryant University in 2017 with noted academic achievements. She is an active member of the Rhode Island Association of Physician Assistants (RIAPA).
In her role as a board certified Physician Assistant, Katherine’s responsibilities include assessment and treatment of upper extremity disorders and disease of joints, soft tissue, and bones of the elbow, wrist and hand. She also orders and interprets diagnostic imaging and labs, as well as performs in-office procedures. Katherine also joins her physicians in the operative setting assisting in pre-operative tasks, during procedures and post-operative care.
