Kayla Macari, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Kayla Macari, PA-C is a Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes in spine disorders and works with Dominic Kleinhenz, MD. She spends her time both in the office seeing patients as well as assisting in the operating room alongside Dr. Kleinhenz.

Kayla grew up in Central Massachusetts and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. She then completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2020 at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, graduating with honors. Kayla is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants (RIAPA), and Massachusetts Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).

Prior moving back to RI and joining University Orthopedics in 2021, Kayla practiced Trauma/Acute Care Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.
