Dr. Chen is a primary care sports medicine physician whose interests encompass all aspects of sports and musculoskeletal medicine. These interests include the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic injuries, injury rehabilitation and prevention, sports-related concussions, and exercise physiology.

Allyson Pocock, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at Ortho Direct. She works closely with Dr. Philip Salko, Dr. David Bica and Dr. Andrew Chen. Allyson treats patients with a wide range of general orthopedic issues with a special interest in sports-related injuries. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Allyson attended College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Bryant University. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants (RIAPA). Allyson joined University Orthopedics in 2022.
